SSA Signs MOU with UNILUS

It is indisputable that the vibrancy of the legal profession is largely dependent on the quality of Lawyers trained by our Universities.

The University of Lusaka (“UNILUS”) has certainly played its part in moulding and developing law students through its progressive, dynamic and innovative LLB program.

It is for this reason that SSA has joined hands with UNILUS in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) whose objective is to add a practical dimension to its curriculum.

By the MoU SSA has inter alia agreed to:
  1. Take the best graduating students as interns while pursuing their program at the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE).
  2. Assist UNILUS to facilitate its annual moot court competition.
  3. Provide guest and public lectures in specified areas of law practice or other matters of public interest.
  4. Supervise research students in certain undergraduate programmes.
The MoU signifies the beginning of what is anticipated to be a fruitful relationship anchored on mutual interest and the need to provide well-rounded legal training.
